I'd like to talk about a hotpot restaurant, called super hot, in my hometown. I like hotpot very much. My friend told me about the restaurant, so I went there with my sister.
The food there is very delicious. After eating there many times, I recommended it to my friends and most of them liked it too. I think the manager is very creative. Since the business is very good, sometimes customers have to wait for the tables. The manager make this waiting time more rewarding. When the costumers have to wait for more than five minutes, they can have three plates of vegetables for free. Sometimes we feel happy if we have to wait, which is very different from the experiences in other restaurants. If you eat there, you can enjoy your drinks for a low price and you get your refills for free. I think it is very economic.
It became a very famous restaurant in my city. Now a lot of chain restaurants opened in my hometown. I think the business of this restaurant will be even better. Maybe soon, we will be able to find it in hangzhou.

Thank you very much for giving me the chance to talk about my favourite restaurant. The name of my favourite restaurant is (say the name of the restaurant you are going to talk about) and it’s situated at the centre of the city I am currently living in. Not only I like the spacious, serene environment, tasty menus that the restaurant serves, but I have lots of memories related to this restaurant. I remember that my parents celebrated some of my birthday parties there, our college friends arranged the get-together parties, one of my cousins’ marriage ceremony was celebrated there and similarly I attended lots of other parties at this very restaurant.
The restaurant has 3 floors and the sitting arrangement is quite nice. Paintings of famous artists have been hanging on the walls and the place is quite neat and clean. The interior decoration is charming and gorgeous feeling. The ground floor is spacious and can accommodate more than 50 cars' parking. The front view of the restaurant is different as the place gives the impression of an urban garden.
The restaurant offers several dishes including exotic deserts, ice-creams and also offers a separate place for the kids to play and have fun. The prices are reasonable and the foods are served quickly as opposed to some other restaurants where you will have to wait for a long for your foods to appear on your table. The waiters and other staffs are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant offers Chinese, Italian, Indian, Thai, Pakistani and local menus that gives you a wide ranges and options to pick from. The soft background music and instrumentals make the environment more enjoyable and soothing. The tables are not congested and people can chat over their personal topics without interruption. The long glass made windows offer the city view which makes the place worth visiting besides the delicious foods. The place must be a good place to be as I often found the foreign tourists visiting the restaurant. The authority lets the customers provide their feedbacks and comments on foods and the place and as I have noticed they take prompt action on a customer complaint.
In short, this is a really nice restaurant to go and enjoy the delicious meals.
Describe a special meal you were invited to.
You should say:
When and where you were invited
Who invited you
What you ate
And explain how you felt about the meal.
Ok then, well I’m actually quite lucky in the fact that I’ve been invited to quite a number of special meals, and the one I’ve decided to talk to you about was a farewell dinner of a good friend of mine, because he was about to go off to Canada for a few years to start university there, so he invited a few of his close friends for a farewell dinner before heading off.
And one of the reasons I’ve chosen to talk about this meal instead of some of the others I’ve been to is simply that it’s still quite fresh in my memory. You know, it was only about a couple of weeks ago when it happened. And as for where we had the meal, well I can’t remember the exact name of the place, but it was quite a posh restaurant somewhere in the centre of the city, and judging from how nice it looked when I walked in, it seemed to be a pretty expensive place to dine. So I was kind of relieved that it wouldn’t be me footing the bill! And we also had our own separate room, which was nice, and probably just as well, seeing as we made quite a bit of noise during the meal, what with all the laughing and stuff going on.
Anyway regarding what we ate, well I couldn’t tell you every single dish that we had, because there was just so much, you know, the whole table was literally covered with food. I mean, there was crab, chicken, duck, what else, um,……oh yeah, shrimps, and, uh…..oh and a whole load of different vegetables. So by the end of it, I was absolutely stuffed. You know, we all ate masses, because the food was so good, and it would have been a bit of a pity to see it go to waste!
But anyway, finally then, with regard to how I felt about the meal, well to put it simply, I really enjoyed it. Because as well as the food, which was fantastic, I really enjoyed everyone’s company. You know, it was great being together with so many good friends, many of which I hadn’t seen in quite a while.
So yeah, all in all, it was a really special evening, and I’m extremely grateful to have been invited, and also very grateful to my friend for his generosity, as the bill must have come to quite a lot, I’m sure!
Notes:
Ok then = Ok, (I’m ready to begin). You can also say, “Ok right then” or “Ok then”
I’m actually quite lucky in the fact that I’ve been invited to quite a number of special meals = 我其实很幸运因为我很多次被邀请参加特殊晚餐 (or something like that!)
It’s still quite fresh in my memory = I can remember it pretty clearly
It was just as well = 幸亏如此
quite a bit of = quite a lot of
foot the bill = pay the bill (买单)
By the end of it = 到最后
I was absolutely stuffed =
(you can use ”absolutely“ before extreme adjectives for emphasis, for example: ”the show was absolutely amazing“! 演出太精彩了!/ I'm absolutely starving! 我饿死了!but you can't say ”I'm absolutely hungry“, as ”hungry“ isn't a p enough adjective.)
We all ate masses =
So yeah = 所以嗯 (often used at the beginning of the final sentence when you are finishing your talk/answer)
Let's not waste any time and get started!
“I think”
1. As far as I’m concerned “据我所知;就我来看;我认为”
Eg:As far as I’m concerned, youth offenders should be punished by law. But .........
2.If I may say so “如果我能这么讲”“我认为”Eg:You look much younger than your actual age if I may say so.
3. If you ask me“我认为,如果你问我”Eg:Books are morebeneficial for children compared with computers if you ask me.
4. To my mind /In my opinion“在我心里,我认为”Eg.But an honest question posed from a broken heart is to my mind a good andrighteous thing.
此外还可以用以下短语表达:As I see it —— 就我所知;As far as I know——就我所知;I’m convinced that——我相信……比如:“Global warming is a recent problem as far as I know.”
口语考试中避不开的话题就是“喜好”,假如考官问你:”Do you like swiming?“你难道只能回答”I like/love swimming“吗。。。。。
1. This appeals to me because……这对我很有吸引力,因为……(这样回答既表明你的态度,又阐述了喜爱的原因)比如:“swimming appeals to me because it's such a great way to relieve stress .”
2. “I am keen on doing something”/ “ I am keen to do something”......
I was keen on going to the party but two centimeters of snow fell in London and trains didn't run.“
I am not keen on doing something.“即可。
Asking for clarification
1. Sorry, I didn't quite catch that对不起, 我没听清楚
2. Could you say that again?
3. Could you explain what you mean by……?
比如:“could you explain what you mean by bricks and mortar business?”
providing clarification
1. To put it another way换一种方式说
2. What I'm trying to say is我想说的是……
3. What I mean is我的意思是……
What I'm trying to say is that maybe you can't approach this as a purely intellectual exercise.”
1. It's quite a difficult question
2. That's a good question
3. I've never thought about it before but I guess……
1. I couldn't agree more——我非常赞同
2. I totally agree——
3. Absolutely/Definitely——绝对,肯定例如:”absolutely young people spend way too much time on social media.“
4. I tend to agree(with) that ”我倾向于同意……“ (这是一种比较温和的同意形式)
5. It depends/I think it really depends“这取决于……”(这是一种更理性的回答)
1. That’s one way of looking at it. However……
2. That's not always true——
“some people say that getting education is the best way to prepare for the future, however that's not always true.
In some situations hands-on experience is much more valuable.”
1. I've never really thought about it——我还真没想过……
“Oh, what is your favorite wild animal?”“Well, I've never really thought about it but I'm quite fond of big cats. For example, Tigers and leopards.”
2. To sum up/To wrap up如果你想在考官终止你的回答之前主动结束对话,最好表示你马上就会回答完毕用” to sum up” 或者” to wrap up”即可
To wrap up I'm really fond of Miami because of its diversity and tropical climate."

Yes, I am a big fan of photograph for a couple of years. Although it would definitely cost me so much because the camera and lens are both quite expensive, I am the kind of person who wants the best or nothing and I believe they are totally worth it.
2. Is it an expensive hobby in your country?
It depends. If people want to take photos which are a bit different and professional than the ordinary ones, they should probably invest a great amount of money in the gears; on the other hand, if people just have fun with the pictures, they could buy the cheap devices, too. They are affordable and won’t cost much.
3. What do teenagers like doing in your country?
It's kind of hard to say but the young people that I know around me tend to play football so much in the football pitch, but maybe for others, they just want to play computer games at home all day long.
4. What hobbies are usually expensive in your country?
Well, in my country, apart from my hobby, there are also several hobbies that need you spend a great amount of money. For example, the musical instruments, such as piano and violin, will bankrupt you. As well as that, if people decide to embrace high end audio equipments, that would appear to be a bottomless money sink.
5. What do you like about your hobby?
I have been in the habit of it for almost 8 years. The main factor is that I can capture the precious moment in my life, such as the graduation ceremony, or the sweet moment with my girlfriend, and also I believe the photography will cultivate my mental development.
6. How much time do you spend on your hobby?
Not so much time actually, I take photos from time to time. Normally if I’m free in my spare time, I will go out to the natural sceneries with all my gears to find and capture the stunning moments because I find it quite entertaining to do that; but if I have lots of on my hands I’ll probably focus on my work.
7. Is your hobby a common hobby in your country?
Oh, yes, it’s definitely a common hobby in my country as photography has been gone through a long way in history. You can easily see people taking photos of portraits or landscape in the parks or any natural sceneries in China.
8. Are there any new hobbies that you would like to take up?
Well, recently I went to running in the park because I wanted to keep me fitness and get toned. Besides, keeping a running track in my iPhone and sharing it with my friends are really entertaining. Moreover, I wanted to try some traditional English Oxford shoes because they really look cool and trendy, and would suit my new coat well.
Indoor Games
1. Do you play any indoor games?
Absolutely yes! Playing indoor games is a must-do activity for me and my friends. The best part of it is that you don't have to prepare much or spend money, by simply following the instruction you can get tons of fun together with friends.
2. Do you prefer to play indoor games or outdoor games?
Well, I'll definitely choose indoor games. Lazy bones as I am, playing outdoor games is a basically a waste of energy. Even thinking about the burning sun and clothes soaked with sweat makes me sick. On the contrary, indoor games can energize me without spending too much energy. So indoor games is no doubt my type.
3. What indoor games did you play when you were a child?
Well, there are lots of indoor games to play for me when I was a child. Card game, puzzles and indoor hopscotch 室内跳房子 were all very much interesting. More than that, I think it's also my parents' company that comforted me. No matter how busy they were, they always took some time from their tight schedule and played with me.
4. Is there any particular indoor games that you liked when you were a child?
Looking back to my childhood, playing hide and seek was the utmost important activity to me. I always enjoyed the excitement when I was hiding. My heart flooded with adrenaline as the seeker approached. As they left, the heart felt relief again excited me. Moreover, playing hide and seek can also build a close relationship with my friends. This indoor game now become my most cherished childhood memory.
5. What sort of indoor games do children play now?
I think children nowadays are more than willing to play video games. Take my nephew for example, whenever I propose to play hide and seek, he shows obviously no interest in it. Nevertheless, the moment I start my PS4, he will rush to my side and stare at me keenly. I guess virtual games now has taken over reality games.
6. Do you think the young people should spend a lot of time on playing games?
Well, I think so. I think the children can make many friends when playing games together and I think it is a good opportunity for them to broaden the social circle. Moreover, the children may play games with other friends, so I think the children can be more active and cooperative during this process.
Topic Sentence
Supporting Ideas
Examples
For example,First, secondly, last but not the?least来讲分论点,但这样给考官的感觉是在背作文,而不是真正的口语。 最好用well, also , actually ,as a matter of fact , you know 等等词。

for the favorite picture I have in my room is the one with my boy friend and I smiling in front of the Disneyland Park. It is put right on the wall facing my bed so every time I lie down I can remember those moments.
The memories still come to me that the photo was taken on a rainy night when everything seemed dim in the distance and noises were replaced by the profound serenity of raindrops.
We had a great time at the Carousel with many other couples taking photos of each other. And minute upon minute, note upon note, the little horses would go up and down.
When the music faded out and the fantastic tour came to its end, the dark night sky was kindled by fireworks rising behind the Disney castle where all fairy tales dwelled in. Those dancing images of mascots were projected on the castle, reviving the happy moments although the fact that the park was closing soon made us a little sad.
But at least we still have the photo. It is always reminiscent of that lovely time at the park and I believe there are more happy moments to be filmed with us together.
1. Dim: (light) not bright
Ie: This light is too dim to read by
2. serenity:the quality of being calm and peaceful
Ie: The hotel offers a haven of peace and serenity away from the bustle of the city
3. Fade out: to become less clear or quieter
Ie: Fade out the music at the end fo the scene
4. Reminiscent: remind you of somebody/something
Ie: The way he laughed was ply reminiscent of his father.
1. What’s the advantages and disadvantages of taking photos with smartphones?
Well, the first benefit of taking photos with smartphones would be easy transmission. It’s very handy to share a picture with friends as long as there is internet available. It could be even easier if two mobiles are both iPhones, thanks to the airdrop.
Also, compare to the digital cameras which are usually quite bulky, smartphones on the other hand are very portable. And all the functions work automatically which means even if you don’t know anything about photography, there is still good chances to craft nice phones.
Talking about the disadvantages, the only thing I can think of would be that people may not treasure pictures as memories that much as before.
A snap shot serves to crystallize the important moment in your life and that moment lasts for the length of a breath. People are unprepared to be filmed and their emotions are open to interpretation afterwards.
But using smartphones, people tend to take several at the same time with the same pose, and to filter out the best one. I think it lose the real meaning of recording the true life to some extent.
2. What is the benefit of learning painting for children?
first of all, painting is the easiest way for children to express their imagination. So learning to do that would definitely strengthen their ability to think outside of the box which is significant for their later lives.
Because imagination is the basis for creation and innovation, one can’t achieve more in any aspects without it. Apart from that, learning painting could be the best way to teach kids to appreciate beauty and therefore to treasure life.
Reading and children
Reading and children
What kinds of book are most popular with children in your country? Why do you think that is?
I think the most popular kind of books with children in China is comics. Statistics and my person experience with children bring me to this conclusion. First of all, if you bother to check the top sellers in terms of books, you will find comics for children permanent residents in those lists. As a comparison, those books telling fairytales and legends seem a little weak in terms of effect on children. Also, whenever I find some children gazing at their smart phone or tablets or reading a paper back book, they are mostly reading comics. It has become a great challenge to find kids focusing on words instead of pictures. Based on these two evidences, I believe comics are most children’s favorite in China.
Why do you think some children do not read books very often?
Well, for this issue, I think the shift of lifestyle is first and foremost to blame. In the online era, we, no matter adults or children have tens of alternatives to do in our spare time and reading a book is one of the most attention-intense among them. Why not go surf the Internet using your smart phone or tablet for some easy-to-understand stuff with beautiful pictures explaining everything to you, or some other rich media requiring no literacy. We grownups still struggle to escape from such grasp, needless to say the children.
How do you think children can be encouraged to read more?
Before we dive into the question, I think I need to make it clear that the children today have been reading far more than we expect. Read Weibo posts, WeChat messages, endless news feeds and many other kinds of media. They are avid readers that older people cannot match with. What grownups are trying to do in this scenario is to shift their focus of reading from those “light” material back to some old-school, serious and provoking thoughts created by real thinkers. Upon this problem I hold a pessimistic opinion. What we can hope for is nothing but luck which can bring a few on them to what grownups want them to read.
Reading for different purposes
Are there any occasions when reading at speed is a useful skill to have? What are they?
Yes indeed. Based on my own experience as a university student, reading at speed can save me from piles of papers to finish before a near deadline. Suppose a student needs to finish reading three or even more papers of more than one hundred pages and write a report about the issue discussed in them, and even worse, the deadline is two days from now. In this case, reading at speed is quite comforting. Another occasion where reading at speed is extremely helpful is to do a presentation about an unfamiliar topic in a short time. If the presenter can read fast enough and memorize what he or she has read about, the presentation can be fully equipped with knowledge though it may be not logically organized in some ways, but at least the audience can have something to digest. This looks very much like a cheat but turns out to be useful.
Are there any jobs where people need to read a lot? What are they?
Yes, definitely. For instance, journalist, novelist or any other kinds of jobs involving writing requires a great amount of reading. These jobs are basically about output, which means to take in information and process it into different forms for more people’s better understanding of the issue. In this situation, reading as a crucial source of gathering information is indispensable. Without adequate input, the output will be dry in all ways so that the jobs calling for detailed information will be total failures.
Do you think that reading novels is more interesting than reading factual books? Why is that?
Yes I do. As an avid reader of novels, I always have a preference for books with an intense plot to those with merely knowledge or information. Generally speaking, I believe all kinds of books are written to communicate certain knowledge to their readers but the knowledge are packed in different covers. Some are embedded in a story, which is what novels do with the knowledge, and some are delivered within a series of experiments and assumptions, which is how factual books are organized. The preference for novels is parallel to the fondness of junk food instead of the tasteless fibers and protein capsulated inside colorful pills. What matters to a person’s taste for books is heavily influenced by the way the information is communicated. That is how I look at the preference for novels to factual books.

my favourite part of the day is late afternoon, because the day's work is coming to an end, I can go home, and i have the evening to look forward to, and the weather is generally pleasant and cool.
3.Do you usually have the same routine every day
Almost. I start my day with coffee, then rush to the train station to go to work and back home. Not too much room for flexibility when you work 9 hours a day and you are 12 hours out of the house. I dream of becoming a freelancer especially for this reason.
4.What is your daily routine?
In a typical weekday I have to wake up a bit early and revise my university lessons and then I rush to the university campus to attend the lecture. Forgetting /bringing things
1.What do you remember to do every day?
Well, there are many things I have to remember to do every day. For example, after getting up in the morning, I need to take some simple physical exercises like doing some crunches and push-ups. Besides, another important thing that I should keep in mind is to teach my son to read the traditional Chinese poems in the evening.
2. What helps people to remember things?
Well, it’s kind of hard to say but people I know around me use the to-do-list apps in their mobile phones to help them remember what to do next; but maybe for others, they may probably write the urgent things down in the notebooks.
3. Why do old people forget about things easily?
Well, I guess it’s quite normal that people are more and more forgetful when they are becoming ageing. Apart from some negative emotional factors like stress and depression, elderly people are easier to forget things because of their normal ageing.
4. Have you ever forgotten something important?
Oh yes, I nearly forgot the birthday of a woman I liked last time. I once asked her what her birthday was, and told her I would send her a gift, but I just unbelievably forgot it until the evening that day. Fortunately I asked her out to dinner to celebrate with her.
5.Why do people often forget small things?
Well, I suppose it could be because they have a lot of things to think about or remember and sometimes it’s easy to remember big important things - but little things are more easily forgotten.
6. What kind of things do you have to bring when you go out?
cell phone, of course. I take it with me wherever I go. And my keys, wallet, lipstick are also must-have items. I always put them together in a small handbag.
7.Did you ever forget to bring something?
I rarely forget to bring something as I have a good memory. But there was a time when I forgot to take my house key before I left home. What was worse, my parents were on their trip. So I had to stay with my friend for onenight.
8.How do you remind yourself?
I always write a note about what I should bring, and stick it to the refrigerator door. Everyday before I leave my home, I check it to find out what is missing. And it really works.

1.Do you enjoy birthdays?
Yes, I do love them. There is so much fun associated with birthdays. You meet people, friends, play, put cakes and then sing birthday songs. We dance and sing and so much more. It is like we become kids once again.
I do enjoy birthdays. Birthdays bring along with them so much positivity and a feeling of freshness. It seems as if it is another chance to be someone else, someone better. You meet friends, enjoy with them, laugh at the silly things done and plan for the great future ahead.
2.Do you usually celebrate your birthdays?
Yes, I do. Although it is not very huge party but I make sure that there is a party and that I have all my near and dear ones surrounding me during my birthday.
I usually am not a very big birthday fan. I think there should not be any reason to celebrate life and oneself. I am one of those who would give myself or any one else gifts out of the box with no reasons and at any time of the year.
3.What did you do on your last birthday?
I'm not really big on celebrating my birthday, and I'm not very sociable person either. Although, I did celebrate my last birthday with an awesome lunch with my friends at this brewery and played several rounds of laser tag. I'm probably not gonna make a big deal out of my name day until I'm thirty, which is in a couple years....
4.Can you remember a birthday that you enjoyed as a child?
I still remember my 13th birthday. It started out with no plan and we decided to just have fun within my family members but as it turned out to be, people started coming just like that, some saw my father getting cake and others simply wanted to wish me. It was a surprise of its own kind and we had almost 50 people in the house. It was real fun, meeting people and then opening the gifts.
5.Do most people celebrate their birthdays with a party in your country?
Yes. No matter a person is rich or poor, there surely is some kind of party going on during a birthday. There are people who are very extravagant and don’t think twice before spending on their birthdays while some make budgets to make sure there is a good party on birthday. Birthdays in my country are often taken as something that brings lot of people together.
6.Do you prefer birthday parties with your friends or with your family?
-My birthday is the anniversary of the day my mother gave birth to me, so obviously it’s a day I should spend with family.
-Definitely my friends, with my friends I could let loose and really have a good time.
-My family is more important to me so I think it’s more meaningful to spend my birthday with my family members.
Birthdays
Throw a party (have a party) “In my country parents often throw a party for their children by inviting their friends over.”
paint the town red (have a great time) “Birthdays provide the perfect opportunity to paint the town red all day long.”
A social butterfly (to have lots of friends) “I’m not quite a social butterfly, but I do like to celebrate my special day with a few friends and family members.”
Decorate “On my friend’s birthday I like to decorate the room with balloons and greeting signs.”
milestone “When someone turns 50, they have reached a milestone in their life.”
keepsake “Keepsake gifts, such as jewelry or photo albums make nice presents.”
The party turned to be a blast.
Get-together
I'm not exactly a social butterfly, so while I'm not the kind of person who avoids even just mentioning it to people I know, I don't like to make a big deal out of it. No presents, except from parents and grandparents who would give me gifts even if I told them not to. Maybe a slice of cake if it's doable, but I won't go out of my way. I don't drink, so going out to the bar with chums is not something I'd like to do. Really, I just prefer to quietly tick a mental check-box that another year in my life has passed and reflect on what, if anything, has changed about myself since last year.
I usually just go out to lunch with my family, and then hang out with some friends, maybe go to a movie or something. I typically don't make a big deal out of my birthday, and whenever someone asks me what I want for my birthday I tend to reply with something along the lines of “I have everything I need” (except this year when I've been replying with “a job”).
1.Which do you prefer, reading newspapers or magazines?
I would say I prefer newspapers. Newspapers in just ten or eight pages give you a glimpse of the entire world, including all the sections. From fashion to the general news to comics to sports to almost everything. In just one newspaper, you have access to the entire world.
2.What type of stories do you like to read about?
I love reading autobiographies and non-fiction. Autobiographies because they give a glimpse of lifestyle of a very successful person. You get to know them when they were the mango people and what they did to become what they became. Their struggle, the inner story, their point of view and for some reasons I find it quite exciting. Other than this, I like reading non-fiction.
3.Have you ever read a newspaper or magazine in a foreign language? [When/Why?]
Yes, all the time. I lived in another country for several years, so reading in a foreign language was a normal activity for me, not just newspapers and magazines, but all kinds of documents and literature. I still do it to maintain my reading skills.
4.Do you think reading a newspaper and magazine can help you learn a language?
Yes, but it depends on your language level. If you are just beginning to learn a language then it can be very difficult and frustrating – certainly not the best way to try and learn a foreign language – but as you progress and develop your vocabulary it is a good way to learn expressions and phrases related to common topics in the news and current affairs, or related to a specific topic in the case of magazines.
5.Why do you think some people prefer magazines to newspapers?
I think the reason might be that magazines are more specific. So, for example if I am interested in reading about like sports, then a magazine will offer me better articles and more specific, to be concise. It also de clutters all the things that one does not wants to read.
6.Which magazines and newspapers do you read (why)?
Answer A) I prefer reading magazines on travel. Being a travel host, it is very important for me to know about more places and understand them theoretically, before taking on my camera and team along side. Travel magazine also help me to understand the perspective of the other person for a same place that I have also visited. Apart from it, I like fashion magazines as well. Not for the reasons of fashion, I find them good entertainer when one wants to just spend time idly.
Answer B) I only read magazines and newspapers if I’m waiting someplace and they are there, and there is no other alternative. Most of the time, I prefer doing something on my phone. But, either ways, I like to read sports magazine. Cars and their engines excite me for the most part. I mean, there are fantastic cars out there and in magazines, a perfect description is given. Newspapers, I rarely read. I prefer getting the news on either phone or television.

Good morning professors,First of all, please allow me to express my appreciation for the opportunity that you give me to join this interview.
my name is __ English name Felix. I’ve got my undergraduate education in Beijing Foreign Studies University, Majoring in __in School of English and International Studies. The major for further education that I pursue here in Peking university is __
During the four years in BFSU, I’ve been given the traditional education on both English Literacy and Diplomacy, which cultivated me to view the world in an international perspective.
I’ve been foreign teachers’ assistant for about three years and learnt to communicate with them and understand their way to think and act. This experience gives me much deeper understanding of different cultures.
I served as volunteers for many events held by the government and other organizations, such as Fortune Globle Forum and Euro-Asian Conference organized by the Ministry of Communications. Thanks to those experience, I used my knowledge in real foreign affairs and increased my abilities in related aspects.
No matter how much the life in BFSU brought to me, I’ve been thinking for really a long time about studying something else after graduation as the life-long direction of study and profession. After analizing all the factors that intrigue me and inspire me, I’ve chosen a major which contains the factors of both passion and rationality. This major is Media Management.
I really appreciate it if you could consider my application. If I could have the honor to study here, I promise that I would never fail your expectation. I’ll try my best to study and learn as much as I could, so as to make contribution to the society and our country.
Thank you!
