Tian Lichun is a researcher of Institute for Health and Development Studies （IHDS）at Kunming Medical College，a World Health Organization （WHO）collaborative Regional training center on gender and reproductive health，as well as a World Bank research and training center on health sector reform．In addition，she is a standing board member of Yunnan Reproductive Health Research Association （YRHRA），a unique China local non-governmental organization focusing on reproductive Health and civil society．
Lichun completed her undergraduate training on public health at Shanghai Medical University．After she earned a master’s degree on social medicine and health management from the IHDS，she joined the IHDS．Since then，she has been in charge of various teams separately responsible for the HIV/AIDS related stigma and discrimination，access reproductive health to migrants，gender，rights and sexual health．
